The CoRASS 2019, 3rd International conference on recent advances in nonlinear models-design, resilience and rehabilitation of structures, invites all the researchers to present work and collaborate in this event, that will take place in Coimbra, Portugal, 16th-18th October 2019.

The CoRASS conferences launched the Conferences of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) series of thematic events, in 2011 and 2017. They were medium-size conferences which allowed for dynamic and fruitful exchanges between participants. CoRASS 2019 being the third event aims to keep the interest of the previous and even expand the scientific knowledge interaction.

The conference objectives are to identify the application of the new formulations in the design and nonlinear analysis of structures made of different materials, with a special focus on the resilience and rehabilitation of existing structures.

The CoRASS 2019 is promoted by the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra and is organized under the umbrella of the INESC-C – Institute for Systems Engineering and Computers at Coimbra and the ACIV – Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Engenharia Civil.

One main goal is to encourage young researchers to collaborate in scientific conferences, by assigning the global best paper and the best paper submitted by a Young Researcher.

The CoRASS2019 Proceedings will be published in the ECCOMAS Site. The full length papers will follow a review procedure in order to be eligible for indexing in SCOPUS.
